Hi, I’m Dave Hudson, a passionate storyteller with over 26 years of experience in the art of filmmaking and on camera and stage acting who recently appeared in Chicago PD playing the role of Sergeant John Montgomery. My journey began in Chicago, where I honed my craft through short films during the early days of SNS, then on to hundreds of commercial projects both behind and in front of the camera. Over the years, I’ve dedicated myself to exploring every facet of filmmaking and acting, from production to standing in front of the camera and onstage.

But my true calling lies in helping others discover their potential and bring their creative visions to life. That’s why I’ve relaunched Skitz-N-Sketchez Arts Academy, a platform for aspiring actors and filmmakers to gain hands-on experience and master the skills they need to succeed in the industry.

My mission is simple: to create opportunities for anyone who dreams of telling stories on screen—whether it’s through powerful acting, innovative filmmaking, or precise editing. With a deep love for teaching and a commitment to fostering talent, I aim to inspire the next generation of artists to embrace their creativity and achieve their goals.
